If you are a prepay telecommunications provider you will find Mobile LCR to be a fantastic addition to your product portfolio. Mobile LCR offers your existing prepay client base an application that will simplify their international calling and provide you with increased retention, increased ARPU and increased market share by its viral propagation. The business case is simple, self funding and compelling.
Mobile LCR equips the telecommunications provider with the ability to capture all mobile sourced international traffic from any worldwide location through their existing network. The application contains a handset resident routing table (OTA upgradeable) that supports every mobile operator in every country (MNC/MCC) to ensure that specific gateway routes can be used.
Features of Mobile LCR
Auto Install
Simple download and install procedure.
Auto Start on Handset Reset
Ensures Mobile LCR is activated at all times, therefore no international traffic is missed.
Automatic Worldwide Coverage
Mobile LCR will automatically redirect all international calls made from every worldwide location where there is a defined point of presence and routing table entry. This can be restricted to a single country (UK use only for example), a group of countries (Americas for example) or can cover every country that has your presence.
When an international call is made Mobile LCR searches the resident routing table for a country code match and retrieves the gateway to dial. If no gateway is available then Mobile LCR will be automatically disabled and subsequently re-enabled when handset is in a location where gateway support is available.
Local and roaming SIM support
Mobile LCR will detect the use of a local or roaming SIM in the handset. This gives the telecommunications provider the ability to specify whether roaming calls are allowed to local gateways or whether Mobile LCR should be disabled if a local SIM is not fitted.
Handset upgradeable routing table
Routing table and application marketing messages are upgradeable over the air through user initiated procedure. This enables operators to pass routing table changes to subscribers if required.
